Paul-Louis Bouchard was a French Orientalist painter. A student of Gustave Boulanger (1824–1888) and Jules Lefebvre (1836–1911), he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1880 and 1930. He was made a chevalier of the Légion d’honneur in 1924. One of his most important works Les Almées (1893) is part of the collections of the Musée d’Orsay (RF 1977 93).
