Fragment de vitrail monté dans un cadre rectangulaire de bois moderne, quelques plombs de casse, un complément, quelques rayures, restauré en octobre 1923 par Charles Wasem.

History

Research

Ce fragment héraldique provient d’un vitrail inconnu. Sur les panneaux armoriés, les écus aux armes du Saint-Empire sont fréquemment représentés couronnés au sommet d’une pyramide héraldique, accompagnant les blasons des commanditaires, d’après la composition conçue par le peintre verrier zurichois Lukas Zeiner (vers 1454-avant 1513) vers 1500 (cf. GE_2153, PB_1, SZ_3).
