    Quadratische Scheibe mit abstrakter Komposition aus orangefarbenen und grünen Bogenformen, dazwischen ein schwarzes Kreuz. Möglicherweise vegetabile Formen, die aus einem braunen Saatkorn spriessen, darüber die Sonne.

    Research

    Gedenkscheibe für Johannes Hugenmatter, der von 1976 bis 1993 als Pfarrer der katholischen Kirchgemeinde Muolen SG tätig war. Sie wurde 1997 nachträglich in die bodentiefe Fassadenverglasung der Vorhalle der katholischen Kirche St. Josef eingebaut; die Vorhalle war 1963/64 im Rahmen einer umfassenden Renovierung angebaut worden.
    Eine kleinformatige Zeichnung im künstlerischen Nachlass von Heinrich Stäubli zeigt einen abweichenden Entwurf (HS_403): Im Vergleich rückte das schwarze Kreuz und die Inschrift bei der finalen Glasmalerei ins Zentrum, zwischen die jetzt aufgebrochene grüne Bogenform. Es gibt keine blauen vertikalen Bänder mehr. Vielmehr entsteht der Eindruck einer Pflanze, die dem Licht (der Sonne) entgegen wächst.
