Research

Die bauzeitlichen Glasmalereien der Villa “Arâm Mahal” von 1906/07 stammen wohl aus der Werkstatt von Friedrich Berbig, der mehrere durch den Architekten Meyer in Frauenfeld errichtete Villen mit Glasmalereien ausstattete (s. bspw. TG_2402 und TG_2430). Sie zeugen von der Vorliebe für dekorative Pflanzenmotive während des Jugendstils und changieren zwischen naturalistischer und stilisierter Darstellungsweise.
