    La Vierge, vêtue d’un manteau couvert d’or et les pieds nus, est entourée de roses rouges (lors de sa dernière apparition à Juan Diego, le 12 décembre 1531, elle demande à Juan d’aller cueillir des roses au sommet de la colline, en signe de témoignage de la véracité de son apparition).
