    Description

    Links steht der heilige Theodul mit dem glockentragenden Teufel als Schildhalter. Der Legende nach erhielt der Bischof die Glocke vom Papst und ein Teufel musste sie ihm von Rom nach Sitten tragen. Rechts fungiert ein Walliser Weibel als Schildhalter. Im Vordergrund erscheint der Wappenschild des Wallis.
