Hier steht der Begründer der Kirche Petrus für den Glauben an die katholische Kirche, wie er im Credo und in der Inschrift genannt wird. Der Apostel sitzt als erster Papst im Stuhl Petri und hält den Schlüssel in seiner linken Hand. Hinter ihm ist ein Kirchengebäude zu sehen.
