Hier ist das Leiden Christi unter Pontius Pilatus, wie es im Credo und in der Inschrift genannt wird, dargestellt. Christus, mit gefesselten Händen und Dornenkrone, kniet im Vordergrund und wird vom hinter ihm stehenden Pontius Pilatus verurteilt. Im Hintergrund ist der Baum der Erkenntnis und die Schlange zu sehen.
