Description

Die Glasmalerei zeigt die Legende von Bernrain. Nach der Chronik von Gebhard Dacher soll im Jahr 1384 ein Konstanzer Knabe ein altes Kruzifix spottend an der Nase gefasst haben und nicht mehr davon losgekommen sein. Die 1388 vom Konstanzer Leinenweber Johann Kräntzli gegründete Heiligkreuzkapelle wurde aufgrund dieser Legende ein vielbesuchter Wallfahrtsort. Links ist der an der Nase des Gekreuzigten hängende Knabe zu sehen, rechts ein kniender Geistlicher sowie die Wallfahrt zum Kreuz.
