Erhaltung: Fragment mit Notbleien. Ein Scherben verloren.

Technique

Farbloses Glas. Bemalung mit Schwarzlot und Silbergelb in verschiedenen Farbstufen, Eisenrot, sowie blauen und grünen Schmelzfarben. Grüne Schmelzfarben z. T. wieder abgekratzt bzw. gedünnt. Eisenrot stellenweise radiert.

Research

Das über unbekannte Wege ins Museum gelangte Fragment gehörte ursprünglich zu einer querrechteckigen Wappenscheibe im Stil Leontius Buchers und bildete die rechte Rahmenarchitektur eines sicher heraldisch gestalteten Mittelbildes. Vergleichbar sind beispielsweise die Scheibenstiftungen Hans Jakob Joseph Alts 1697, Tobias Gottraus 1697 und Franz Niklaus Von der Weids 1698 (FR_189, FR_190 und FR_192).
