Zwei Sprungbleie; Schwarzlotverluste (die Inschrift auf dem Foto nicht mehr sichtbar, d. h. nur noch am Original in Spuren erkennbar).

Monolithscheibe aus farblosem Glas; Bemalung mit Schwarzlot (die verschwundene Inschrift in schwarzem Kaltauftrag?).

History

Research

Über den aus Bettelried stammenden Stifter ist bislang nichts bekannt. Das vorliegende Glagemälde besitzt in der Grisaillescheibe Hans Eschlers im Bernischen Historischen Museum (BHM Bern, Inv. 25936) ein Pendant und wurde vermutlich an denselben unbekannten Ort gestiftet.

Die stilistischen Parallelen der beiden Scheiben zu Samuel Küpfers Glasgemälden in der Berner Schmiedenzunft lassen sie diesem Berner Glasmaler zuweisen.
